Barbara Eberhart is known for her large-scale realistic florals in oil. Her
career as a professional artist spans over 40 years in Hawaii and California, and
her work is part of countless private collections. Barbara earned her BFA from
California State University, Sacramento before moving to Hawaii, where she
lived for 32 years. There she was awarded the State Acquisition Award where
her work was purchased for Hawaii’s state permanent collection.
In 2014, Barbara relocated back to her home state California. She loves creating
artwork that depicts the California flora and fauna, and her murals can be seen
in public and private venues in Hawaii and in Santa Barbara.
Barbara enjoys passing on the joy of creativity, and holds workshops and
classes throughout Southern California. Barbara has continued to show her
artwork extensively since relocating to California, and is excited about the new
directions with abstracts the California culture and atmosphere are inspiring in
her.
